I started with the Norseman Xtreme Triathlon in 2012 and switched to ultra-distance running in 2013. Since then I have covered hundreds of thousands of kilometres across deserts, mountain ranges, arctic trails, and coastal roads on four continents — finishing some of the most demanding ultra-endurance events on the planet.
My running spans both road and trail, from 135-mile desert crossings in Death Valley to 450 km solo wilderness walks in Sweden. I know what it takes to keep moving when every part of you wants to stop — and I know how to teach that to someone doing it for the first time.
Ultra running is not about being fast. It is about being consistent, smart, and mentally prepared for the hours when nothing goes right. I have been in those hours — in Death Valley in 50°C heat, on the Kungsleden alone in the Swedish arctic, at kilometre 400 of the Gobi Desert. I have learned what works and what breaks you.
When I coach, I bring that experience directly to you. Not theory — actual field knowledge from events that pushed me to the edge and required real-time problem solving. My job on the Okinawa camp is to make sure you arrive at the 100 km start line prepared, and that you leave the finish line knowing you can go further.
